Shipping & Returns

Everything you need to know about how we pack, ship, track, and accept returns at ALUME. If anything here isn't clear or your situation isn't covered, please reach out through the contact page.

Processing time

Orders placed before 4 PM IST on a business day are usually packed and ready for dispatch within 1–2 business days. Orders placed on weekends or Indian public holidays are processed the next working day. You'll receive a confirmation email once dispatch is complete.

Tracking updates

Once your order is fulfilled, you'll receive a shipping confirmation by email and SMS containing the courier name and tracking ID. You can also see live tracking from your account page. Updates continue until "Delivered" is recorded.

Return window

Eligible items can be returned within 7 days of delivery. To start a return, contact us via the support page with your order number, the reason, and clear photos of the item. Customised, hygiene-sensitive, or used items are not eligible (see Section 5).

1. Shipping timelines

Orders are usually processed within 1–2 business days after payment confirmation. Estimated delivery time depends on the destination, courier availability, service selected at checkout, and public holidays.

2. Shipping fees

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout based on the shipping address, order value, available rates, and the shipping service selected.

3. Tracking and delivery

After an order is packed and fulfilled, customers receive a shipping confirmation with tracking details. Delivery timelines may change if the courier faces weather delays, address issues, customs checks, or failed delivery attempts.

4. Damaged, wrong, or missing items

If an item arrives damaged, wrong, or missing, customers should contact support with their order number, delivery photos, packaging photos, and a short explanation within the stated reporting window.

5. Return eligibility

Items should be unused, unworn, in original packaging, and with tags or accessories included. Final sale items, hygiene-sensitive items, customized products, and gift cards may not be eligible unless required by law.

6. Refunds and exchanges

After returned items are received and inspected, approved refunds can be processed to the original payment method. Exchanges depend on stock availability. Shipping fees may be non-refundable unless the issue was caused by store error.

How long until my order is shipped?

We pack and dispatch orders within 1–2 business days of payment confirmation. You'll receive a shipping confirmation with tracking the moment your order leaves our facility.

How do I track my order?

Once dispatched, you'll receive an email and SMS containing the tracking ID and the courier name. You can also log into your ALUME account and view live tracking from your order history page.

How do I start a return?

Send us a message through the contact page with your order number, the item you'd like to return, the reason, and clear photos of the item. We respond within 1 business day with the next steps. Please make sure the return is requested within 7 days of delivery and the item is in its original unused condition.
